    ls &#124; parallel --tag find {} -type f \&#124; wc -l

Use &#039;ls -d */&#039; if you only want dirs.

You can install GNU Parallel simply by:

    wget http://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/parallel.git/plain/src/parallel
    chmod 755 parallel
    cp parallel sem
